Hey Simon I have tried many, many times to play DS:LOA and I tried using the recommended settings when I selected troubleshoot compatibility but this was the error I get over and over until it asks me to insert disc.

Error, fatal exception occurred (can this object be used in this manner?), HResult = -2147319779
In function:
cInvokeMethod2::Invoke

I then stumbled upon this thread and tried the method at the top of the page which didn't work either. But then I came upon your post and I set compatibility to Windows Vista but it still came up with with a different error over and over again which says

An Invoke error occured but the object did not provide any exception infomation., HResult = -2147352567
In function:
cInvokeMethod2::Invoke

It then says

Windows cannot find 'Splash.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

I then press OK but then it asks me to insert disk. I don't know what to do next as I have tried finding splash.exe manually in the DS folder with not success. Can you please help me!?

Yep Dude that's true! the longer a product is exposed to so called "inert" plastics the greater the chance of leaching contaminants eg. Sma babymilk lids exuded synthetic estrogens and had to be pulled off the shelves! Men with boobs! hurrah! :P

thank you for your reply.

we give our cats blue buffalo wilderness dry cat food. They absolutely love it no matter what kind we get.

i agree with you. i dont like cat food that has fruits and vegetables. seems very unnatural to me. although, 2 of my cats love watermelon, i dont know :P

if you are not going to use blue buffalo you should keep an eye on those ingredients. make sure meat is the first ingredient. The ingredient list is sorted by how much of that ingredient is in it.

Hi, I tried the Blue Buffalo wet cat food. The Chicken, Duck and Turkey. My kitties loved it at first, but then stopped eating it. It was bizarre!. I dont like the cans that have the fruits and vegetables in them, as my kitties think these smell horrible and just walk away. But they especially loved the turkey and duck (the bright shiny small cans, kind of like tinfoil!) I am wondering what made them stop. I think that maybe its because I was trying different kinds of organic kitty foods (all canned) at the same time. They have upset stomachs.

    It was my fault. So I am going to not buy any cans for awhile. I use Eukaneuba dry food, which they only like when I first open the bag...after a few days, they dont like it anymore...they will eat it with their sardines though! Sardines (in water no salt) are full of Omega 3 and very great antioxidents! One sardine a week for each baby!

Thanks,
Glory
